Some wrenching skills are required, as often the tank and sometimes fairing parts have to be removed before you can get to the air filter box. Once it is free, it is a matter of removing the old air filter and replacing it with the new air filter. When reassembling the air filter box, make sure that you reconnect any hoses correctly (these are often necessary for a correct and quiet running motorcycle).
