Maintenance-free battery is from the well-known brand Motobatt, type MBT9B4 (replaces the YT9B-BS) for your Yamaha YP125 X-Max 125 (check year from the YP125 X-Max 125 or select a year: below in the motorcycle-list). We supply this Motobatt battery with 12 months of service for any defects (1 year) . It is important for the warranty that the battery is properly maintained. A deeply discharged battery (for example due to a winter break) or incorrect loading with too high a voltage is not covered by the warranty. To prevent the battery from being deeply discharged, it is advisable to charge the battery regularly with, for example, a trickle charger or battery charger if an motorcycle is not used for a longer period of time. It is a motorcycle battery of very high quality and has been specifically developed for the specified motorcycle model(s).
PLEASE NOTE: this battery does not have an indentation at the top. This may be necessary for some motorcycles (choose Yuasa, for example). Therefore, check whether this is necessary for your motorcycle.
- Dimensions of the Motobatt MBT9B4 (Yuasa YT9B-BS): 151x130x87mm (lxwxh)
- Capacity: 9Ah
- Starting capacity: 115CCA
- Acid: maintenance-free, QuadFlex technology. Battery must be activated after receipt with a (trickle) charger.
- 1 set of battery terminal clamps included
- Please note: this does not have 4 connections, but 2 (unlike the example in the video)
MAINTENANCE / TIP:
The battery has the longest lifespan with normal regular use. A motorcycle battery may suffer damage if it is not used for a long time. Consider, for example, if your Yamaha YP125 X-Max 125 is put in winter storage for a few months. To keep the battery in good condition, it is advisable to connect your motorcycle battery to a trickle charger or battery optimizer (see the bottom of this page). Failure to maintain the battery (regularly check the voltage and recharge if necessary as indicated in the battery leaflet) will void the warranty on the battery. Hence the tip to use a trickle charger or optimizer that does this automatically for you.
