Battery is from the well-known brand Yuasa, type YTX12-BS maintenance-free for your Triumph Thunderbird 900 (check year from the Thunderbird 900 or select a year: below in the motorcycle-list). We supply this battery from Yuasa with 12 months service on any defects (1 year) . It is important for the warranty that the battery is properly maintained. A battery that is too deeply discharged (for example due to a winter break) or incorrectly charged with too high a voltage is not covered by the warranty. To prevent the battery from discharging too deeply, it is advisable to charge the battery regularly with, for example, a trickle charger or battery charger if an motorcycle is not used for a longer period of time. It is a very high quality motorcycle battery and has been specifically developed for the specified motorcycle model(s). It is not for nothing that almost all motorcycle brands have this motorcycle battery in their motorcycle as standard ex-factory.

- Capacity: 10Ah

This battery must be activated/charged with a battery or trickle charger upon receipt. Please note: sometimes a battery is supplied without the designation BS (=Bottle Supplied). With this battery, the acid is filled with acid at the factory and there is no difference in type, capacity, dimensions, etc
- Identical names are YTX12B-BS, YTX12, YTX12B-4, BTX12-BS
MAINTENANCE / TIP:
The battery has the longest life with normal regular use. A motorcycle battery can possibly be damaged if it is not used for a long time. Consider, for example, if your Triumph Thunderbird 900 is put on winter storage for a few months. To keep the battery in good condition, it is advisable to hang your motorcycle battery on the trickle charger or battery optimizer (see bottom of this page). If the battery is not maintained (regularly check the voltage and, if necessary, recharge it, as also indicated in the information leaflet for the battery), the warranty on the battery will lapse. Hence the tip to use a trickle charger or optimizer that does this automatically for you.
